What Watercourse does differently, in all three

Windows, not just Mac
Ecamm Live and mimoLive are macOS only. Watercourse records and streams on macOS and Windows, with the virtual camera as the one macOS-only piece.
You can own it outright
Every app here is a subscription. Watercourse offers one too, at $12 a month or $99 a year, but $249 buys it permanently plus twelve months of new versions, and it keeps working after that.
No feature tiers
Multi-camera, 4K, the virtual camera and isolated recording sit behind a higher tier elsewhere. Here there is one licence, and the 14-day trial is the whole app.
Nothing leaves your machine
Compositing, background replacement, mixing and encoding all happen locally, and guest media travels peer to peer. There is no cloud recording and no upload queue.
